Terms of Service
Last updated 14 September 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and the operator of Social Instinct ("we", "us"; identified in section 13), for your use of Social Instinct (the "Service"): the website, the training app at /drilling and everything you buy in it. By creating an account or using the Service you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who can use the Service
You must be at least 18 years old. The Service trains adult social and dating skills, records your voice and sends it to third-party AI providers, and takes payments, so it is not for minors. By creating an account you confirm you are 18 or older.
You are responsible for keeping your login details private and for everything done through your account. Tell us right away if you think someone else has used it.
2. What the Service is
The Service is an educational tool. You practise conversation out loud in simulated scenarios, an AI persona plays the other side, and AI models grade what you said and how you said it. The feedback is generated automatically and can be wrong, inconsistent or unsuitable for a real situation. Treat it as practice, not advice.
The people in the scenarios are fictional. Any resemblance to real people is coincidental. Coaching content and videos are the opinions of their author and are provided for general education only.
We do not promise any particular result in your social or dating life. How you use what you practise is your own choice and your own responsibility.
3. Your conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to practise or plan anything harassing, deceptive, coercive or unlawful, or to treat the skills you learn as a way to pressure or manipulate real people.
- Try to break, overload, reverse engineer or scrape the Service, its AI prompts, its content or its infrastructure.
- Share your account, resell access, or use automated tools to consume drills.
- Upload or say anything that infringes someone else’s rights or that is illegal in Sweden or where you live.
We can suspend or close accounts that break these rules. If we close your account for a breach, you are not entitled to a refund for the remaining period.
4. Plans, coins and payment
Drills are paid for with coins. Every spoken turn costs coins; a turn on the premium persona costs more than a turn on the standard one, and the price of each is shown in the app before you start.
A free trial allowance is given once, at signup. Paid plans (currently Pro and Premium) renew monthly and reset your coin allowance at the start of each billing period. Unused coins from one period do not carry over to the next.
Top-up packs add coins to your current period only. They expire when that period ends, even if you have not used them.
Prices are shown at checkout and include VAT where it applies. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card number. If a payment fails, we may pause paid access until it succeeds.
We may change prices or plan allowances. Changes apply from your next billing period, and we will tell you in advance by email or in the app.
5. Cancelling, withdrawal and refunds
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account page. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for.
As a consumer in the EU you have a 14-day right of withdrawal under the Swedish Distance Contracts Act (lag 2005:59 om distansavtal och avtal utanför affärslokaler). Because the Service starts immediately at your request, if you withdraw within those 14 days we refund the price minus a proportional amount for the coins you have already used.
Coins that have been used are not refundable. Coins you bought but did not use before they expired at the end of a period are not refundable either, except under the 14-day right above.
To withdraw or ask about a refund, email us at info@socialinstinct.app from the address on your account.
6. Your voice and your data
Using the drills means recording your voice. Your recordings and their transcripts are sent to AI providers to transcribe, respond to and grade what you said. How we and they handle that data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.
You keep all rights to what you say. You give us a licence to process it as needed to run the Service and, in pseudonymised form, to improve the drills and grading.
7. Our content
The Service, its drills, scenarios, grading rubrics, text, videos, design and code belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own training while you have an account. You may not copy, publish, sell or redistribute them.
8. Availability and changes
The Service depends on third-party AI and hosting providers. We aim for it to work well but cannot promise it will always be available, error-free or fast. We may change, add or remove drills and features, and we may end the Service with reasonable notice. If we end it while you have paid time left, we will refund the unused part.
9. Liability
The Service is provided as it is. To the extent Swedish and EU consumer law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost opportunities, or for what happens in your real-life conversations. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract, or our liability for gross negligence or intent.
Our total liability to you for anything connected with the Service is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
10. Closing your account
You can close your account at any time by emailing us. We will delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may close inactive accounts after a long period of inactivity, and we will warn you by email first.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For material changes we will tell you by email or in the app at least 14 days before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after that, the new terms apply. If you do not agree, cancel before they take effect.
12. Law and disputes
Swedish law applies to these terms. If you are a consumer in another EU country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules where you live.
If you have a complaint, email us first and we will try to sort it out. As a consumer in Sweden you can also take a dispute to Allmänna reklamationsnämnden (ARN), Box 174, 101 23 Stockholm, www.arn.se. Otherwise disputes are settled by the Swedish courts.
13. Operator and contact
Social Instinct is operated by Amandus Axelsson, a private individual based in Sweden. Postal address: Agnes Lagerstedts gata 25, 129 51 Hägersten, Sweden. Email: info@socialinstinct.app.
